Hello parents!
We've all arrived safe and sound! Right now there are 67 excited kids running around the camp and settling in. The cousellors are doing an amazing job - they've been leading the students in songs and games. Most of the girls are in one large dormitory, and the boys are in studios. There are 10 boys in two large tents. Right by the tents is a litte pup tent for the lucky teacher on duty:) Tonight is Mr. Gallant, and I'm on tomorrow night. The ferry trip was a lot of fun - the food was great, and we even saw some dolpins as we approached the islands. The kids will be starting the activities tomorrow. I glanced at the schedule, and there will be kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, biking, and archery. The kids are divided into teams, and they'll get a chance to do all the activities in turn.
As I type this, the kids are having a quick snack next door. They're excited and chatty, but fter all the excitement today I think (hope) they'll sleep well tonight!
Check back for another update tomorrow!
