Tonight's meeting

Just a reminder to all parents that there will be a meeting tonight.  This is our final meeting before the trip!  It will be at 6:00 pm at the Elm Street gymnasium.

Some of the subjects covered will be:

1. Departure and arrival times
  - Students are to be at the Elm Street parking lot at 10 am Sunday, June 12.  We will depart at 10:30 am.
  - Students with special medications are to arrive 30 minutes early.
  - We will catching the 2 o'clock boat.  If you are planning to drive your child to Souris, please let us know!
  - Please pack a lunch for your child to eat on the bus.

2. Return
  - Students will arrive at the Elm Street parking lot at approximately 3:00 pm Saturday, June 18th.

3. If your child requires any special medications, please label them and put them in a ziplock baggie.  We will be asking that you arrive 30 minutes early on departure day so we can safely store the medication.

4. Please do not forget: MEDICAL CARDS!!!, sleeping bags, board shorts, and anything else on the list sent home.

5. Our last statements will go out this Friday.  Please have all payments in by Tuesday, June 7th.

7. There will be phone trees handed out upon our departure.

Dear parent/guardian,

As you know, it is almost June, and therefore almost time for our trip to the Maggies!  There will be an important meeting for all parents on Tuesday, May 31 at 6 pm at the Elm Street gym.  This meeting will cover everything you need to know about the trip, including departure and arrival times, the boat ride, what to bring, accommodations, rules and regulations at the camp, and communication (phone trees, emergency numbers, etc).  The meeting itself should take about 30 minutes, after which I’ll open the floor up to anyone who has questions.  If you have anything you would like me to go over, please feel free to write me a note and I’ll keep it in mind for the meeting.
