Hello,
What a great day we had here in the Maggies. We woke up bright and early for some morning exercises and stretches lead by our new friends here at Istorlet. After, we had a delicious breakfast ,we split into our groups for the morning activities. The different activities in the morning included: archery,very fun, I participated and had as much fun as the kids, it was very well organized and safe. Cycling, the cycling group headed into a little village and visited a few artisan boutiques, they also went to the beach where they made sand castles. Hiking, they hiked large rolling hills and saw some of the beautiful Island scenery, I heard it was breath taking. Mr. Gallant enjoyed it so much he also went also in the afternoon :). Kayaking, sailing, and wind surfing were the water activities. The students seem to really enjoy them, I will find out for myself tomorrow. We celebrated Georgia Bakers' birthday today. She had her room decorated and birthday cake for everyone. Tonight, we played a huge game of capture the flag, it was awesome. Overall, we are having a great time. The camp counselor's are amazing, new friendships are beginning and routines are already beginning to be established. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of very sleepy kids tonight.
